My Cell Phone got wet!! Its acting so wierd now!?
Ok so my phone got wet yesterday. It was going crazy it was doing all this stuff that it would only normally do if i was pressing buttons but i wasnt. Then it said intial programming required on the home screen. And the buttons were doing the wrong things like the button toke me to the menu and the menu button did nothing. Now today It was doing better only the key and ok and up buttons werent working but it was still doing stuff without me pressing anything but not as bad. I even heard the camera go off times. Then when it was going through different sutff by itself it went to the thing that says ur cell phone number and its said my number was and its not! then i noticed that everything on my phone like text messages, pictures, contacts, and games i downloaded were gone! Then the phone started working fine but now it wont let me do anything like call text or anything that requires service. It seems like its deactivated. Should i just buy a new phone or can i fix it?

If it got wet with anything other than water you will probably need a new phone, but if it was just water you should take out the battery and place it under a fan for about hours make sure power stays off...but since its been a while it may already be too late. brbrI dropped my phone in the water once, called alltel and they told me to do this and it worked fine for a long time after that. brbrAlso, if you have insurance on the phone it can be replaced. brbrGood luck!
