Hi my mom accidently put my phone in the washer And its not working I need I need help fast Thanks for helping.

My phone got wet over the summer. I was at the duck pond for fireworks and was about a half mile away from my car. It started to pour down rain and there was no shelter anywhere. I had my phone in my pocket as I didnt bring a purse or anything with me. My friends and I ran back to our cars, but by then it was already soaked!brbrAfter checking online and following the tips on my phone carriers website basically just letting it dry out I had to bring it in and get a replacement. Of course, mine was a year or so old, so they had to ship a refurbished one out to me.brbrSo, I suggest trying to dry it out take the battery out and put both in a dry place for at least hours. If that still doesnt work, you most likely will need to take it in and get a replacement or just get a new one. brbrI have Verizon and with insurance it would have cost me , but I didnt have that, so I had to pay . Though, actually, if I hadntve wanted a new battery, it would have only cost me the . brbrGood luck!
